The license "ECATADDONS*NEUTRAL*IMPORTER" is required. If it is missing the menu item Batch import neutral formats (Quick and Simple) is not displayed (see Fig. „Call "Batch import neutral formats (Quick and Simple)"“).
If the license "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO" is available in addition, advanced features/topological information such as Sphere, Torus and Elongated Cylinder are read in. All other features such as Hole, Cylinder, Cone, Opposite Planes, Pattern, Fillet, etc. are read in with much higher quality. This is important in order for the features to be recognized later at Geometric search (3D).
Inside applications, you can view the Active licenses when clicking F9 or in Help menu the menu item Licenses. In the dialog box, open the subitem Features.
In the dialog box of Quick and Simple, there is no further information on licensing (see Fig. „Dialog box "Batch import neutral formats (Quick and Simple)"“). You can not/need not set anything. The quality of imported data only depends on the availability of the license "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO".
Following figure shows advanced topology features in addition.
General topology features are basically available.
Since topology information / features are also used as basic search criteria, subsequently search results will be better and more exact.
Following figure shows a selected feature "Sphere" in dialog box Partial search.
When selecting a feature and "Unknown" is displayed, this feature is not available for the Partial search, because it has not been read in during parts import (no license "PSADDONS*ADVANCEDTOPO").
